I’m not even trying to be witty when I say that I honestly have no idea what this is about.   I’m pretty sure something’s not right…

What the heck is up with that, Q?

Sarah strikes again

I should really just hand Sarah the keys.

I’ll take “option” B, thanks, Macy’s!  Love the shoes, hate the quotes.  ;^)

Thoreau Monday

Every time I pass this sign I make a mental note to share it, and then of course I forget because I’d forget my brain if it weren’t nailed in there.  Anyway, I love this sign.  There’s nothing technically wrong with it, either, if we waive complete-sentence punctuation requirements for signs (which I do).   I think it is perfect for a Monday post… it sort of expresses a quiet desperation.  Please.

Sarah is one of those awesome academic types who approaches the internet with curiosity rather than fear.  Sometimes she also pokes it with a sharp stick.  Rock on, Sarah!

Thanks, Nolan!

This is all over, but I pulled it from Womanist Musings, because I refuse to pull it from the sites that sort of quietly applaud it.

Cotton, coffee, and cocoa… to go, please.

Written By: admin - Sep• 18•08

According to Wikipedia, “cotton, coffee, and cocoa together generate about 30% of export earnings” from the “sub-tropical, sub-Saharan nation” of Togo.   That will be very useful information when I place my order.

Kudos to Mr. Joshua for introducing me to this one.  (Click on image to link to its source, the webcomic Achewood.)
